Details
Autoclaved aerated blocks for fast, light, cool walls. A floor of AAC masonry weighs about a third of the same floor in clay brick, which the structural engineer can turn into smaller members. Lay them with jointing mortar in thin beds, never with site-mixed thick mortar.

From the site engineer's deskBuy the jointing mortar with the blocks. AAC laid in conventional 12 mm sand mortar loses most of what you paid for.
